Noah’s Art Wins National Award

The Art department is proud to announce that Noah Kuijl has received the High Achiever Award for her GCSE in Art and Design. Noah scored the highest marks in the GCSE course in Spain, a tribute to her commitment and talent. Back in August 2014 Noah was awarded an A* for her GCSE which reflected not just her performance in her final exam but a culmination of two years of hard work and perseverance.

The external examiner in charge of overseeing our marks referred to her work as being of a standard beyond A level. This degree of creative maturity at such a young age is highly commendable, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to witness Noah grow and develop into a young artist. I am proud to have taught and to teach such a dedicated young lady and I am looking forward to seeing what she will achieve in the future. Congratulations Noah – you deserve it!

I didn´t expect to receive this award. It was such a surprise! The Art department at Morna is amazing and I really enjoyed the freedom of expression during my GCSE course. Yanni has been fantastic during my studies – encouraging, supportive and hugely knowledgeable.
