Another year, another amazing show from the primary school students. Morna´s Got Talent! was a real opportunity for the children to show off their creativity and personalities. It also gave them a chance to build confidence and self-esteem whether performing alone, in pairs or as a group.
The children are given the freedom to plan, rehearse and perform their talents and once again they did themselves proud! Magicians, dancers, singers all took to the stage and entertained both teachers and children for an afternoon.

Last week, 10 staff from Morna gave up their weekend to attend the annual National Association of British Schools in Spain conference in Valencia. As well as including important updates about child protection, safeguarding and educationally related laws, there were also a number of training workshops designed to help teachers improve teaching and learning in schools. These workshops not only benefitted the staff that attended, but the information was also shared with staff throughout our school.
We are always looking to improve at Morna, and we make a major investment in the training and development of our staff each year.
The NABSS conference is one small part of this, but the fact that so many staff were keen to attend, shows their commitment to this process.
Our staff are always looking to do what is best for the students of our school, and this is another example of that.
Have a great weekend.
